Avtandili Mgebrishvili

Avtandil is Head of the Technological Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development Center at Ilia State University. He leads the development of the university's strategy in the direction of technology and entrepreneurship. He is actively involved in the development of the technological and startup ecosystem of both the university and the country level. For the last 6 years, he has been leading and facilitating relations with key partners. In recent years, he has implemented projects and various educational activities for schoolchildren and students throughout the country, focusing on providing various training programs on non-formal education, entrepreneurship, technological subjects and other STEAM areas. During his career, he has helped more than 300 startups and small businesses in formulating an idea, creating a final prototype for design and production, and these startups are actively operating in the Georgian market.He is also a lecturer at Ilia State University in the direction of entrepreneurship and drones course.During his career, he actively coordinates and manages the projects of several large partner donor organisations, within the framework of which awareness about entrepreneurship and technologies are rising on a regional scale and the training of professional personnel are actively carried out. Avtandil is a local representative of several global events, he actively organizes hackathons, makeathons and ideathons, which was founded on the base of the Ilia State University.
